ITB: Demolition of Former Brunswick Community Hospital

Sealed proposals will be received until 3 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 in the office of the Brunswick County Engineering Department for the demolition of: the former Brunswick Community Hospital. Proposals will be reviewed thoroughly and a notice of award will be made within 30 days. The contract shall be Single Prime.

A general description of the work includes:

Demolition of the former Brunswick Community Hospital and ancillary structures.

Demolition is defined as the demolition and removal of building, basements, foundations, underground tanks, asbestos mitigation, fence removal, paving or sidewalk repair as well as the demolition and removal of site improvements, including but not limited to retaining walls, paving, sidewalks and foundation landscaping.

Disconnection and capping of water and sewer lines, and any other connected utilities of any structure to be demolished, per instruction and inspection by Brunswick County Utility Department.

Fill, grade, and seed excavated area, to ensure proper drainage and erosion control.
