Gallatin County: Moffit Gulch Bridge Replacement- construction of a new prefabricated steel bridge & demolition and removal of existing structure. The project consists of: The construction of a new prefabricated steel bridge, County procured, on Moffit Gulch Road over Rocky Creek on the east side of Bozeman, Montana. Improvements consist of but are not limited to demolition and removal of existing structure, substructure installation including riprap, the construction of new bridge approaches, asphalt surfacing and approach guardrail. The superstructure consists of a prefabricated steel bridge which will be founded on castin place concrete stub abutment end bents which will sit on compacted nonfrost-susceptible structural backfill. Additionally, Moffit Gulch Road will be overlayed between the Frontage Road and the new bridge approach and paved 18-feet wide extending from the new bridge approach tie in for approximately 1,200 feet to the northeast.
