Good sharing!There is a dining-room for the prisoners and another for the officers. Iowans interested in providing feedback on proposed revisions to disposal requirements for construction and demolition waste can submit written comments to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources until Dec. 1.

The regulations are a concern because existing rules and laws lack adequate protection for the environment and are not equitable when compared to requirements for Municipal Solid Waste landfills, said Alex Moon, with the DNR solid waste program.

Comments should be submitted to: Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Attn: Alex Moon, 502 East Ninth St., Des Moines, Iowa 50319.

The DNR will present recommendations to the Environmental Protection Commission for review.
