Fairmonty: Fairmont State University COLLEGE APARTMENT HOUSING PROJECT located at 1201 Locust Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554. Description of Work The project includes the demolition of four wood frame 3 story apartment buildings after the construction of a new housing complex of an existing parking lot. The new structure consists of two four story light gage metal and steel frame buildings with CMU stair and elevator towers. The structure is two buildings linked with a glass enclosed connector. A third building on the site is three stories and is constructed of the same materials. The total square footage of all of the structures is 95,360 SF. Once the new structures have been completed, the existing apartment buildings will be demolished and new parking lots will be built on the site of the former apartment buildings. Bids due 02/10
