FEDERAL BID--Retrofit Water Tower and Water Distribution System - Remove two (2) existing water tanks/towers and construct a new 1.25 million gallon elevated composite water tank/tower, along with all associated pump-houses, and other components for a fully functional elevated water system. The work shall include removal of the existing towers in compliance with all regulatory requirements, installation of the new tower and tank, installation of two (2) conventionally-constructed pump-houses associated with the two water supply points, and all associated components in support of the project to provide emergency water storage capability for the Salem VA Medical Center. All work shall be completed within five hundred forty (540) calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The cost range for this procurement is between $2,000,000 - $5,000,000.
