MT. PLEASANT: LUCY GARRETT BECKHAM HIGH SCHOOL - DEMOLITON & EARLY SITE WORK (Project Location: 1560 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464); Description of Project: Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of the Old Wando South High School facility located in Mount Pleasant, SC., in addition to the demolition of the old Unity Baptist Church and Daycare located at adjacent to the High School. The church, daycare, and an existing mobile unit by the daycare all total approximately 25,750 square feet. The Wando South buildings total approximately 220,000 sf. The abatement will consist of some roof mastic, flooring, transite panels around the perimeter of school, mercury moisture barrier under the gym floor, fluorescent lamps at light fixtures. Also included in this package is site work including grading, fill, grassing, utility removal, new site drain-age improvements. Contractor may be subject to performance appraisal at close of project.
