Malta: Construction of the City of Malta Water Storage and Distribution System Improvements The project consists of the construction of a new 850,000-gallon prestressed concrete or glass-lined steel water storage tank, demolition of the existing 176,000-gallon tank, replacement of approximately 2,100 linear feet of new 8” PVC water mains, replacement of the valve vault components associated with the 400,000-gallon tank, and installation of two new generators. All associated appurtenances and water services will be installed, followed by complete surface restoration
