I'm Bert I live and work in Winnipeg for a small demolition company. I'm a heavy equipment operator and currently work for a small demolition company called Boulder Demolition. We demolish some smaller commercial and institutional buildings as well as residential structures like houses, in the past we use to demolish houses and dig the basement for the new house built in its place, but lately it's just been demolish the structure, haul it out, and grade the site. I have been operating excavators and other equipment for about ten years but mostly in excavation work and sewer and water work. I'm hoping to get into more "technical" demolition work but I also would like to keep up my excavating skills.
