Search resuming after rest of Surfside condo building demolished
Rescuers were given the go-ahead to resume the search for victims of the Surfside, Florida, building collapse after the remaining portion was pulled down in a controlled demolition Sunday night.
Details: Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava told AP the operation went “exactly as planned” about 10:30p.m ET, and so search efforts could continue after being paused Saturday for the demolition to take place.
