We have been getting some of email questions in regards to the demolition of the Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN. So we figured we would post the most frequent asked questions and answers.
Q – When will the Metrodome demolition start?
A – The air that is holding up the roof will be turned off on January 18th, which will deflate the roof. The actual structural demolition is set to start sometime in February.
Q – Will the Metrodome be imploded?
A – No, the Metrodome will be removed using conventional demolition methods, using cranes, excavators, etc.
Q – Who is doing the demolition?
A – The demolition will be done by Frattalone Companies.
Q – Who is the General Contractor?
A – Mortenson Construction is the general contractor.
