A Gretna, Louisiana property owner, Kevin Marrone, is suing Jefferson Parish and Durr Heavy Construction LLC for alleged code violations.

Marrone claims that Durr Construction, under the direction of Jefferson Parish, demolished a common wall located at 1637 Alexander Court in Gretna on Nov. 1, 2012. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to remove a slab during the demolition in violation of parish code.

The defendant is accused of leaving the plaintiff in a precarious position. The plaintiff seeks to compel the defendants to come into compliance.
