ITB: Konnarock Property Demolition/Renovations

The work is defined by the contract drawings and includes: The project consists of approximately 16,321 square feet of demolition to the center section of the former Pet Dairy building. In addition there are numerous concrete pads, tanks and other equipment to be demolished. Project includes new metal floor plates, concrete topping and repair and infill of open voids created by demolition with plywood and metal sandwich panels. Asbestos abatement is included as well as three alternates for additional renovation/demolition.

Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the offices of CainRashWest Architects, Inc., 130 Regional Park Drive, Kingsport, TN. Plan deposit is $100.00 per set.

Plans and Specifications will be available for viewing at the office of CainRashWest Architects, Inc., Tri-Cities AGC Plan Room (249 Neal Drive, Blountville, TN 37617), and Knoxville Builders
Exchange (300 Clark Street Knoxville, TN 37921). Each Bidder shall fully inform himself of the conditions relating to the construction of the project and the employment of labor thereon. Failure to do so will not relieve a successful Bidder of his obligation to furnish all material and labor necessary to carry out the provisions of the work under his contract.

A Pre-bid conference will be held at existing site (former Pet Dairy at 1113 Konnarock Rd), Kingsport, TN on February 6, 2014 at 1:30 p.m., ET. All registered bidders are expected to attend.

Sealed bids for the project will be received by the Procurement Manager until 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, and at that time publicly opened in the Council Room, City Hall, Kingsport, TN.
