TEXAS MOUNTING A STATEWIDE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT EFFORT
Published by John on
Texas appears to have ramped up it’s bridge replacement efforts this spring. In just the past week, 14 new bridge replacement bids have been posted by the TXDOT. Including culverts etc there are more than 5,000 within that state and many are more than 40 yrs old. PA has for some time maintained a steady stream of bridge remove/replace projects and more states are joining the movement spurred on by the Fed. Yet, time and time again infrastructure improvement bills seem to get waylayed and the money drips in. There is little doubt, sooner or later the money will flow into projects nationwide keeping the demolition industry alive and well through any economic downturn. Keep pressure on your Public Servants!
