Volvo demolition excavators?

My vote goes against the volvo for the simple reason that you can't see out the top glass. Most of our work is "up there" and unless volvo changes the cab configuration, it is almost impossible to see out the top. Let alone add the guarding and try to clean the glass above.

We have like 20 demolition excavators, varying from 15 tons up to around 70 tons. We are very pleased with Volvo and highly recommend it. Very reliable machines. Just order some news machines (5?) around 40-50 tons. They have a good service network over here.

everyone seems to love the volvo excavators. no question about that. you should talk to costello demo in mass. they are a volvo shop almost exclusively. they did a few big hospital jobs with volvo hoes lately.

I was wondering if any of you guys on the forum here have had any experience with the Volvo demolition excavators? I'm curious to hear how you rate the demo guarding package? As well how good the machine's cooling system is, if my boss gets a couple of larger contracts I'm going to try and persuade him to a Volvo machine, we currently have a Deere 200D with no guarding and we keep having trouble with the rad plugging and the service from Brandt tractor has been the shits. And he's talking (only talking for now) that if we get a contract to tear down a school built largely of concrete he'll get some kind of concrete cruncher so we might need some more hydraulic lines other than the ones for the thumb.
