Amcast introduces Rocky a revolutionary tertiary crusher. Thanks to years of expertise in the crushing industry Amcast engineers and metallurgists have developed the most cost effective impact system that significantly reduces wear and tear and improves the shape index of the finished products.

Rocky reduces management cost, allows for processing of fine material and cuts down a mission of dust. This innovative new machine is available at a special introductory offer until august 31. professional in the aggregate mining and recycling industry can contact Amcast sales director Ray Redman at ray [at] amcastonline.com for further information an quotes.

Rocky sand machine: quick facts

Material Input Size: 4mm to 35mm (approx)

Rocky Advantage: One of the advantages of this machine is that you can crush quarry rock or cone fines that many times are wasted or not used.

Grain adjustment: Slower RPM yields a bigger product size (filler), higher RPM yields a smaller product (grit).

No Apron Adjustment: With its double impactor rotor design, the Rocky eliminates the need to adjust the aprons and allows for a longer life of the apron liners. The reason for this is when the aprons on other machines are adjusted and moved closer toward the rotor, the approach angle of the material impacting the liners changes and increased abrasion results.

Re Crush Cone Fines: The rocky is able to take misshapen sand produced from cones and crush them again into a more uniform shape and size suitable for jobs with the most strict quality control regulations.

Rocky Packs a Punch: The machine may look small, but when compared to its competition using the same power of 110kw, the Rocky '400' outputs the equivalent of a competitor's '600' machine.

Internal Parts: All internal parts that are involved in the crushing process are a cast FX25 alloy, (Hi Chrome). These alloys have an extremely high resistance to wear and abrasion. Quality alloys and innovative engineering are combined to provide the best wear properties and overall performance of any machine in its class.

Class Power Output/hr % Usable Product

Rocky 400 110 kw 35-44 ton/hr Aprx 97% avg.

(20-25mc/h)

Competitor 400 110 kw 25-35 ton/hr Aprx 85% avg.

**Data is close approximations based on test averages, results may vary.

Sand Quality: Rocky outputs sand that is 97% usable material on average, compared to its competition at 85%. Because of Rocky's high percentage of usable material, sand can be conveyed straight from the machine to the pile, with very minimal or no screening/ re-circulating necessary at all.
