Spanish breaker manufacturer Tabe is set to introduce four new breakers into its product line by the end of 2006, the AGB 10, AGB 15, AGB 95 and AGB 575
The AGB 95 will join the lightweight product line and is intended for use on carriers weighing from 1.5 to 3.5 tonne. This new model will have a blow rate of between 1,000 and 1,400 bpm.
The AGB 10 and AGB 575 will join the medium weight line up. The first of these new breakers will weigh 921 kg (2,026 lb) and is intended for 10-16 tonne carriers. A blow rate of 400-550 bpm is expected for the tool. The first of the GP breaker family, the AGB 10 incorporates a new hydraulic technology based on pure gas and that allows for a 20% impact force than with traditional hydraulic breaker technology. The need for a traditional diaphragm accumulator is eliminated by this new design, as well as a 25% reduction in components.
The AGB 575 will also feature this new hydraulic system and will weigh 600 kg (1,320 lb). Intended for use on carriers weight from 8 to 15 tonnes, it will offer a blow rate of between 700 and 1,000 bpm.
The final new breaker, the AGB 15, joins the heavy product line up. Weighing 1,470 kg (3,234 lb), it is designed for use on 21-28 tonne carriers, and will provide a blow rate of 450-700 bpm. The AGB 15 makes use of a mixed hydraulic/gas system.
Tabe also announced plans to introduce a new 4,000 kg (8,800 lb) heavy breaker, the AGB 40, onto the market during the course of 2007 but no other details of this model are currently available.
