Atlas Copco Construction Tools LLC introduces a new line of hydraulic demolition multi grapple attachments, offering an ideal solution for sorting and loading rubble, as well as demolition of masonry and wooden structures. The multi grapples feature large hydraulic cylinders to provide powerful closing forces and short cycle times.

Units in the new line include the MG 2700, MG 1800 and MG 1500. At a service weight of 5,975 pounds, the MG 2700 boasts an impressive maximum closing force of 9.2 tons. Suitable for carriers in the 28- to 50-ton weight class, the MG 2700 operates at a maximum pressure of 5,076 psi and requires oil flow of 42 to 58 gallons per minute (gpm).

The MG 1800 and MG 1500 each provide a closing force of 6.9 tons. Weighing 3,924 pounds, the MG 1800 fits carriers between 20 and 28 tons and accepts oil flow of 34 to 48 gpm at 5,076 psi. The 3,263-pound MG 1500 can be used on 17- to 28-ton carriers and requires oil flow of 32 to 45 gpm at 5,076 psi.

Each multi grapple offers a standard 360-degree hydraulic rotation unit that allows accurate positioning of the attachment to accelerate work progress. The multi grapples feature two hydraulic cylinders to maximize closing forces.

The cylinders are guarded to protect against outside debris, and a built-in rotation protection system reduces wear and tear on the carrier. The cylinders are also equipped with hydraulic-end-position damping. This system slows down jaw-opening speed shortly before the grapples reach their full-width end position, thus protecting against unnecessary strain on the grapple
