Brokk, the world's leading supplier of remote controlled demolition robots, is making its first appearance at SED this year bringing two of the company's latest machines.
The Brokk 50, a remote-controlled demolition machine, is the newest and most compact model of the Brokk family. Weighing 1,050 pounds and measuring 24 inches wide, it offers effective operation in restrictive space. It climbs stairs but also fits in most elevators. With a 150-pound hard hitting hammer, it is a serious and safe option to handheld tools.
Also on display will be the Brokk 90, which is one of the most versatile machines available on the market for demolition in confined spaces. It incorporates the best features of previous Brokk models and all the experience gained by Brokk operators and owners and fills the gap between our smallest Brokk 40 and the next size, Brokk 180. When demolishing in confined spaces, size does matter!
Brokk 90 is easy to transport on a trailer or pick-up. It can be driven on floors in residential buildings and transported in a passenger elevator between floors. It can even climb up and down ordinary stairways.
Like all Brokk machines, Brokk 90 is constructed for heavy-duty demolishing work. The hydraulic breaker is the most common attachment but the concrete crusher is becoming increasingly popular. The machine is light and flexible enough to demolish residential buildings but powerful enough to handle industrial environments as well.
Visit Brokk at SED 2008 from 13th - 15th May at Rockingham Motor Speedway, Corby, Northamptonshire.
