Liebher makes special demolition sticks correct, like for instance the ones that Brandenburg uses are straight and not as what you would normally see and are made that way for the extended reach as to where a bent stick shortens the reach so to speak....

Brandenburg uses Liebher Excavators, Cat wheel Loaders, Cat Crawler Loaders, Bobcat Skid Steers, and several other items.

Their grapple buckets, dump trailers and several other items in their inventory are made in house by their own shop, thats why they look so different. I have also heard that they have the excavators custom built with their specs. They paint all their equipment a certain color yellow that they had designed as their own shade of yellow. ( no im not kidding). When they trade in machines they take their precious attachments off and cut them for scrap so no other companies can use them or copy them.

Brandenburg has made a fortune over the last 20 years providing demolition services to the Energy and Steel making industry almost non stop. The company is run very well. Brandenburg has enjoyed a very specialized and non competitive market with its industrial section over the years. Thats why their primary offices (Bethlehem, Chicago-Hammond,Detroit) are all major hubs of the steel, energy, and automaking industries. In recent years the company has been seen on the east coast and even in Arizona.

It is somewhat overkill for their machines to be so specialized and different when equipment is so readily available by so many vendors throughout the country. They have a huge inventory of machines.

When it all boils down to it, Brandenburg is just like any other demolition firm. Big or Small. They bid the same jobs, salvage the same materials, etc..

Research the South Chicago USX Plant that Brandenburg demolished over almost 20 years. Thats one hell of a start for a company. I heard it was the job that catapulted Brandenburg.

Its funny to see all these posts about Brandenburg now that they are showing up on the East coast
