Neyc, is the system on your bocat an EGR system? Or is it an exhaust gas filter? I am familiar with systems that capture idle exhaust from stationary vehicles (like the fire departments use on trucks in the garages) and I have read about the newer diesel engines with EGR systems like gas engines have.
I would think this woud be a benefit to diesels like it was to gas engines, make a more efficient burn.
Check out this forum there are a lot of knowledgable people on it.

I am sure some of you may be familar with terms: "Clean Air Diesel", "Air Scrubber", etc.
One of our Bobcat skidsteers came equipped.
We have a 2005 Volvo mini excavator that i am interested in equipping.
Anyone out there have any experiences / good or bad in doing this??
