I'm just tired of the exuses... If fuel goes up in the summer then its because of the summer driving seanson and demand, or its because of the possibility of a Hurricane in the Gulf. If its in the winter then becasue of the cold temps in the northeast. Well it hasn't been a cold winter in the northeast.....so why is it now approaching $4.50 a gal???? Now we have a Gov who got caught paying $5000 an hour to a prositute.......... I guess he doesnt care that I'm paying $4.50 for a gal of diesel.........!!! What ever happened to good politicians??? We need someone like Reagan to get things back in order..........

I'm with you James, pushing a heavy political slant probably won't elevate the discussion.
A good solution might be to eliminate the multiple blends that each state mandates. This would free up the ability to provide supply to all geographic areas of the country relative to demand. I believe that eliminating the governments ability to artificially restrict supply will have a direct effect on the cost of the product.
When left to the 'free market', the laws of supply and demand work wonderfully.
