They are doing the abatement this week. The processes have changed for doing Dry Cleaning but there were two old tanks that had to be cleaned.

Make sure the equipment has been cleaned of any liquids or solvents . Some dry cleaning solvents are hazardous and expensive to get rid of. I have done a couple dry cleaner environmental clean ups over the years

We were just awarded a strip-out of a Dry Cleaners about 19000 sqft all the equipment was left and this cleaners was up and running until last month. We have never done a dry cleaners before so we don't know if there is value or not for the equipment. I have tried talking to companies about it but have found out little information. We have to start the demo on May 4th and I would like to know if we should try to Savage the equipment or put it in the scrap can.
