Copper coated wire

We demolished a building that had several pallets of coaxial cable that got damage from the fire. The majority of the wire looks like it is copper coated. Is it worth chopping this wire and separating it from the coating and then selling as scrap? If the price for #1 copper is $3.30/lbs, what would this copper coated wire be worth if it was separated from the plastic coating?

Thanks in advance.
