Fremont: STRUCTURE ELE REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Removal of an existing concrete bridge (Structure ELE) and the installation of a new, precast double-barrel reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert (monolithic section with two, 12-foot span by 7-foot rise cells). Structure ELE is approximately 34 feet in length, and removal will include the deck, center pier, abutments, and railing. The new RCB is approximately 55 feet in length, consisting of 11 sections, 2 cutoff walls, 4 wingwalls, and 2 parapets, all of which will be provided by the County. Construction on Paradise Valley Road covers approximately 730 feet of existing gravel roadway and includes a slight realignment, widening, and profile adjustments. Construction will include bridge removal and deck salvage, installation of a precast RCB and appurtenances, structure foundation improvements, excavation and embankment, backfill and compaction, riprap, geotextile fabric, grading, drainage, crushed base surfacing, headwall and culvert installation, delineation, erosion control, revegetation, and site restoration. Bids shall be delivered to Billy Meeks, Superintendent, Fremont County Transportation Department, 450 North 2nd Street, Room 310, Lander, WY 82520. Bid packages will be received until 2:00 P.M. Local Time, on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
