Putnam County Parks & Rec: SLIDE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL. Putnam County Parks and Recreation Commission hereby requests bids for demolition, removal and reclaiming the land surrounding of the slide structure at waves of fun water park. Companies with demonstrated experience in demolition are invited to respond. Purpose The purpose of this request for bid is to solicit sealed bid proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation with a suitable vendor to remove the existing slide structure from the premises, fill in the slide pool and return the area back to grass. Scope of work: The current slide structure is a large steel support base with a concrete decking, three fiberglass slides, pump house and slide pool. Vendors will have to supply their own machinery and equipment to remove this large structure without damaging the surrounding pool area and structures. a
