McDowell County Board of Education: MCDOWELL COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION: ANAWALT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION The approximate quantities of Work to be Bid upon is as described as follows: The site demolition consists of clearing three (3) structures of the Anawalt Elementary School for the McDowell County Board of Education. Structures within the site contain approximately the following stories and square footages: Basement and two-story main building consisting of 28,007 square feet and a separate metal/block building consisting of 1,153 square feet, totaling 29,160 square feet. The Work will be substantially complete by 08/01/2013 and completed and ready for final payment by 08/12/2013. Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per calendar day. Bids due 05/21
