128-134 and 136 N. Main Street Building Demolition. Project Involves: - Demolishing the buildings to grade; - Removal of floor slabs, foundations and footings; - Hauling and disposal of all debris to approved disposal sites; - Backfilling and excavation with bank run gravel material; - Compacting to 95% of standard proctor; - Temporary abandonment of two potable wells. Low bid demolition contractor should verify that their firm's name is listed on the 10 day notice submitted to the WDNR. Airborne dust must be controlled by misting/water spray during active building demolition. If contaminated soil is encountered, the cost of excavation, removal and disposal will be paid for as an extra. A soil disposal permit will be in place before the schedule demolition so no down time will be incurred by the contractor. Trucks hauling impacted soil must be licensed with the WDNR to haul non-hazardous special waste. petroleum impacted waste will be hauled to Waste Management's Orchard Ridge site in Menomonee Falls, WI Bids due 05/21
