Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District: DECONSTRUCTION, 8122 W. ARTHUR AVENUE AND DECONSTRUCTION, KINNICKINNIC RIVER FLOOD MANAGEMENT. The project contemplated consists of deconstruction of a residential structure at 8122 W. Arthur Avenue, West Allis and deconstruction of residential structures at 2679 S. 6th Street and 2672 S. 7th Street, Milwaukee. “Deconstruction” means the removal by disassembly of a building in the reverse order in which it was constructed while maximizing the amount of material to be salvaged and recycled. This includes the collection, transport, and disposal of salvaged, recycled and solid waste materials. The work at these properties includes disconnection and abandonment of utilities, removal of asbestos containing materials and other regulated materials prior to deconstruction, placement of fill, regrading to maintain site surface drainage patterns, and surface restoration. This is a single Bid for the sum all work in both Contracts W24004E01 and W40002E41.
