New Town Hall Project. The work to be performed under this contract shall include demolition of the Towns existing Town Hall and Public Works buildings, as well as demolition of existing site paving and utilities and removal of select mature trees and landscaping. New construction consists of a two-story wood frame Town Hall structure containing offices, Council Chamber and related support areas on the upper level and Police and Public Works facilities on the lower level. Total building area is approximately 6,402 sf plus a 585 sf roof terrace. Site area is approximately 22,699 sf. Related site improvements include significant re-grade, rework of existing rockeries, relocation of existing water main, new retaining walls, site utilities, parking areas and pedestrian paving. Irrigation and landscaping are to be installed by Owner. Offsite work includes a stormwater dispersion system into an adjacent Reserve. Estimated Base Bid Cost: $1,800,000. Bids due 10/04
