2013 Work Order Construction: Demolition for King County Park Structures. The work under this Contract consists of furnishing demolition services and responsibilities to include all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, superintendents, subcontractor scheduling and coordination and overhead to provide key construction phase elements for various and diverse demolition works. The work will typically involve structure demolition, removal of road and driveway surfaces, hauling debris, soil and/or rock placement, possible salvage stockpiling, and possible hazardous materials testing and abatement procedures. The work will typically be for single family homes, garage and other out buildings that are on lands acquired for the open space program in DNRP. It is anticipated that the work will be done on Vashon/Maury Island and other properties owned by King County DNRP. The structures, hard surfaces and any underground tanks (usually septic) will be demolished and all debris removed from the site. Site specific back fill of soil and 1-2 man rock placements may be required. The sites are purchased for environmental purposes so all care must be taken to avoid contamination. Location of Work sites: King County, Washington The work performed under this Contract shall not exceed $500,000.00 and the initial Contract Time shall not exceed 365 calendar days from the date of Contract execution by the County.
