Tunbridge: Strafford/Hanson Road Bid - Reconstruct Strafford Road Bridge. The Town of Tunbridge is accepting proposals to repair July Flooding damage to the Strafford Road Bridge located at the intersections of Tuttle Road and Hoyt Hill Road in Tunbridge, Vermont. Bridge replacement and erosion control measures are also needed in order to prevent damage from future flooding events. Qualified contractors are encouraged to submit proposals this location. Location A – Strafford Road (TH 01) • Repairs needed before November 1st, 2023 • No properties located along this section • Old bridge needs to be removed, debris hauled away and new bridge put in place. • Prefabricated culvert will be on site to install. Contractors shall provide design-build services to complete this work. This will include design and permitting, as well as furnishing the labor, material and equipment necessary to repair the bridge and reconstruct the roadway in accordance with Town Road & Bridge Standards.
