Chilhowie: Superior Mills Demolition The project consists of the demolition of the former Superior Mills building, concrete pads, pavements, and abandonment of existing water, sanitary sewer, and electrical services. Work shall include abatement/removal and proper legal disposal of asbestos-containing materials, all work related to demolition/removal/recycling of lead-based paint coated surfaces, associated erosion and sediment control measures, traffic control, testing of materials, and legal offsite disposal of demolished items and materials.
