Scope of work consists of interior renovation work at the U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building, 517 E. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202. This is a remodeling and construction project to provide new office space for the U.S. Marshal Service, in support of the U.S. Marshal Service administrative officials. The project calls for demolition of existing space, and construction of new offices, support areas, and restrooms. The project also calls for epoxy terrazzo flooring in part of the construction area, and hazardous material demolition including but not limited to lead paint and asbestos. All work will be completed on the seventh floor of the U.S. Courthouse. The contractor is to provide all the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary for this project. The contract completion time for this project is three hundred and fifty (350) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is negotiated best value procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with an average gross revenue of $28.5 million for the last three (3) years. The proposed contract is being solicited as Unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about May 10, 2006.
