This procurement is for tenant improvements at the Schwartz Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, parts, equipment and tools required to perform the specified work. Tenant improvement work items include but are not limited to the following: selective demolition; removal of partitions; ceiling and above ceiling obstructions; flooring; electrical power and lighting systems; millwork; plumbing from existing fixtures affected by new construction; removal of doors; fire sprinkler system adjustments/ repositioning of sprinkler heads; window treatments; mechanical and security systems. New tenant construction work items includes but are not limited to the following: Architectural woodwork; interior doors and frames; door hardware; interior partitions; security mesh above ceiling up to underside of structure; interior floor and wall finishes; mechanical; plumbing; lighting; electrical; fire protection; conduit; junction boxes; cabling. The NAICS code associated with this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard for the NAICS code is $31 million. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The estimated project cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 01/02/07.
