Travis County: DEMOLITION SERVICES. The following is the scope of work for contractors in the demolition of structures and clean up of sites purchased under flood hazard mitigation grants and other funds. The work shall be performed after the property has been purchased by Travis County. Travis County TNR will notify the Contractor at such time that demolition services are needed. Contractor will perform an initial site visit and submit a completed Demolition Estimate Form (Exhibits B, C, and D) within ten (10) working days of the initial visit. Contractor will not commence any work until a purchase order has been issued. Due to the unknown number of properties that may be purchased by Travis County, amounts shown on the schedule of items are estimates only and are used only to determine the low bidder. Actual costs per abatement will be based on the unit amounts bid and submission of completed Demolition Estimate Forms. Demolition of the designated structures, appurtenances, and/or the removal of all rubbish, debris or other objectionable material of whatsoever kind; to include dead trees and non-native vegetation as determined by owner. The property shall be left raked clean and leveled as to drain in a manner to avoid any standing water. The property shall be free of debris including all small shards of glass, concrete and any other small pieces of demolition debris.
