[FONT=Verdana]The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center at Fort Bragg, NC, is conducting market research to determine the existence of 8 (a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB sources capable of performing as a prime contractor in providing maintenance, repair or alteration of real property, and support services for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Rucker, AL, to include various satellite installations located in the following Alabama counties: Dale, Houston, Geneva, Pike, Covington, and Coffee. Other businesses are not prohibited from responding to this announcement. This requirement requires the contractor to provide all materials, supplies, job site supervision, labor, construction/safety equipment, and barricades to repair, construct real property facilities, and related work. In addition, the requirement includes the need for ancillary professional engineering services for structural foundations and concrete slabs and as-built drawings that conform to DPW's currently utilized electronic computer aided drafting and design (CADD) software. This requirement includes but is not limited to: foundation and site work; construct walls, doors, windows; concrete construction; finished materials; masonry construction; fencing; metals; communications; carpentry; elevators/conveying systems; thermal/moisture protection; mechanical/electrical; earthwork; demolition and removal; and roads/paving. MICC Center - Fort Bragg anticipates award of a single Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Job Order Contract (JOC) for a basic ordering period of one (1) year and four 1-year optional ordering periods. The Government anticipates the JOC to have a $50,000,000 program ceiling over the life of the contract, and a guaranteed minimum of $300,000 for the base ordering period and each optional ordering periods. Task Orders will be fixed price with a targeted award range of $2,000 to $750,000. Historically, 33% of task orders are for less than $10,000; 47% are between $10,000 and $100,000, 6% are between $100,000 and $250,000, 7% are between $250,000 and $500,000, and 7% are greater than $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard $33.5M. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for interested business concerns to submit a brief capability statement that demonstrates a history in performing relevant construction and real property maintenance and repair experience, where the primary focus is on IDIQ type contracts with simultaneous performance of multiple projects at differing locations similar to the task order value that will be executed under this contract. Capability statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOB, etc.) and 4) A description of capabilities and similar services/experiences offered to local, state, and federal Government and commercial customers to perform the requirements identified in this Sources Sought. Capability statements are due no later than 1:00 PM EST on Friday, 6 February 2009. Responses may be e-mailed or delivered to the primary point of contact listed below.
