WOODRUFF: ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION (Project Location: 246 SOUTH PEARSON STREET, WOODRUFF, SOUTH CAROLINA); Description of Project: The project will consist of asbestos abatement, hazardous materials removal, and demolition of an approx. 4,000 square foot office building. Contractor must be licensed by SC-DHEC as an Asbestos Abatement Contractor in order to bid and perform the work. License must be current at the time of bid submittal. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid, as described in the Information for Bidders. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Com-munity Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the con-tract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Construction Cost Range: $50,000 - $75,000
