WARE SHOALS: FAIRVIEW AVENUE APARTMENT DEMOLITION: The Project consists of the abatement and disposal of hazardous materials from and the demolition of the Fair field Avenue Apartments. The work consists of the demolition of the existing building including the hazardous material and abatement in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies. Concrete slabs are to be broken in place, crushed and excavated for removal. Final grading of the site includes importing fill as required to establish grades shown on the plans to ensure positive drainage towards the road. The project also includes grassing and seeding, erosion and sediment control, traffic control, sidewalk removal and replacement and all other necessary work to complete the project. Backfill imported will be sufficient to replace the volume of wall, floor footings and other structural material removed below grade. Backfill material is to be compacted to provide for restoration of the grade for adequate use of site.
