Newberry County: DEMOLITION OF EXISTING AUDITORIUM AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW WALKING TRAIL PARK ON APPROXIMATELY 0.6 -ACRE SITE FOR THE TOWN OF SILVERSTREET IN NEWBERRY COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA: DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: Re-bid of the demolition of the existing school structures, construction of the gravel parking, picnic shelter pad (building will be included in the alternate 1 base bid), playground facility pad (equipment to be furnished and installed by owner), lower play field, and a 0.5-mile mulched walking trail on the 14.7-acre site. The site clearing and grading area will include approximately 7.6 acres for the parking and play-ground/field pad area, temporary sediment basin and temporary stockpile area. The demolition and removal of the existing school structure will include asbestos removal as noted in the asbestos report to an approved disposal facility. The trail construction will have included the tree removal, mulching, and stump grinding with minimal clearing activities for the trail only. Base Bid Alternate 1: The proposed improvements for the alternate will include a restroom/picnic shelter with the utilities to support the facility
