Demolition and Removal of Lodge; Demolition work to be performed at the SCDNR, Bonneau Ferry Wildlife Management Area located off SC Highway 42 at Cordesville, SC (Lat 33.105o N, Long 79.917o W). The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to properly demolish, remove and dispose of all material/debris for the three (3) structures which include the Lodge, Kennels, and Conference/Storage Building. All building components, HVAC systems, porches, steps, roofing material, etc. shall also be removed and disposed. The sites shall be cleaned of all debris and raked smooth upon completion. SPECIAL NOTE: The Lodge has tested positive for Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). An Asbestos survey was performed on all three (3) of the structures on April 30, 2008 by F&ME Consultants and was re-inspected and updated on February 4, 2014 by Carolina Environmental & Geological Company. Copies of the reports (without appendices) are included with this solicitation (A complete report is available upon request). The contractor will be required to properly remove and dispose of the ACM in accordance with all applicable South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control regulations and the recommendations of the Asbestos Surveys as part of Bids due 05/28
