Providence: (RFQ) Emergency Demolition Services. The City of Providence is looking to pre-qualify suppliers for potential Emergency Demolition Services projects for the upcoming fiscal year. These Emergency Demolitions would need to be completed within 72 hours of being notified by the city that your company has been selected to perform the demolition. This process is separate from the way in which the City will procure for the demolition of properties when time is not of the essence. Firms determined to be qualified will be contacted for quotations in the event that the City must demolish a building. The firm submitting the lowest cost bid in accordance with all requirements for demolition as outlined here and at solicitation will be awarded the work. Please note: emergency demolitions must be completed within 72 hours of being notified by the City. Contractor’s bid must include demolition as well as full and proper disposal of all debris on site.
