Pawtucket: (RFQ) Main Street City Park Demolition and Reconstruction and Design/Build Solicitation - REBID. The City of Pawtucket is working with a landscape architect and engineering firm, Fuss & O’Neill, Providence, RI, who will provide concept drawings. A site survey will also be provided. It is the intent of this solicitation to select a design/build contractor to implement the design concept and work with the City and its Consultant in managing the overall project cost. A total project cost will be mutually agreed upon and become the base against which invoices will be assessed. The required services will include an understanding of current conditions, level of demolition needed and its impacts, infrastructure required, utilities required, hardscape and softscape, and plant materials installation; it will further involve management of demolition and construction process, budget management and reporting. The project will adhere to all codes and receipt of all permits will be required before construction begins. Services will also include guarantees on construction and review of longevity and guarantees for materials selected.
