This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified
Acquisition Procedures and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for demolition of two (2) buildings, a water tank, asphalt driveway, curbing and chain link fence. Demolition shall be one (1) foot below ground level. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside with NAICS 238990 and a size standard of $12 Million. Request for Quotes will be issued on or about 11/29/05 with a closing date of 12/15/05.

The Service is using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotes and Purchase Orders. You may view the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov by the closing date of the RFQ.

You must have a valid Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number and an e-mail address to register. You may obtain this number free of charge at 866/705-5711. If you have CCR registration questions please call 1/888/227-2423. Once you are registered you will be able to viewsolicitations on line at either http://www.fbo.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (Dept of Interior site).

For questions about Interior's site please call the help desk at 703/390-6633. This will be your only means of obtaining the award. All contractors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notification of awards. CAUTION This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. It is incumbent ny interested party to obtain any amendments issued and respond accordingly. Failure to do so may result in your offer being unresponsive and possibly rejected. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be honored.
