The work includes the repair and/or reconstruction of 8 individual structures constructed in the 1930s. The work is located at a historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Work includes but is not limited to selective demolition, concrete, masonry restoration, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, roofing, sheet metal work, painting and finish work, mechanical, electrical and lighting, plumbing, waterlines, septic system and commercial equipment furnishing and installation. Performance period is 240 calendar days. This procurement is unrestricted. Small business size standard is $28.5 million. The solicitation will issue on or around March 15, 2006. A site visit is anticipated on or around April 3, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. YOU MUST REGISTER ON FEDBIZOPPS AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR TO RECEIVE A COMPACT DISK (CD) WITH THE SOLICITATION, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS. Copies of the CD will not be available unless you are registered as an interested vendor. The CDs will be mailed on the solicitation issue date. Hardcopies of the plans and specifications will not be available. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
