[font=Verdana]The Government seeks to contract for the renovation of the front plaza at the [/font][font=Verdana]James[/font][font=Verdana]M.[/font][font=Verdana]Hanley[/font][font=Verdana]Federal[/font][font=Verdana]Building[/font][font=Verdana] & Courthouse, [/font][font=Verdana]Syracuse[/font][font=Verdana], [/font][font=Verdana]NY[/font][font=Verdana]. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision. Work shall include, but is not limited to, demolition of existing plaza and perimeter walls, construction of new plaza area including concrete, pavers, landscaping, lighting, bollards, drain repair and other various electrical and mechanical improvements. A significant feature of the work will be to convert much of the currently paved area to a lawn surface. Work will be conducted during the 2006 construction season. A significant phasing effort will be required by the Contractor to eliminate disruptive work in the main portion of the plaza from approximately [/font][font=Verdana]May 10, 2006[/font][font=Verdana] through [/font][font=Verdana]August 31, 2006[/font][font=Verdana].
