The Township of Salford will receive sealed bids for demolition of structure(s) located at 145 Ridge Road, Tylersport, PA known as parcel # 44-00-01594-00-9. Completion of the above mentioned projected should be completed on or before April 30, 2013. The building may/may not have asbestos materials and/or lead paint inside. The existence, quantity and location of any materials made from asbestos and/or lead paint are unknown to the Township. However, the age of the structure is 140 years and it is known that asbestos and/or lead paint was commonly used in building materials during that time. If involved, removal and disposal of asbestos materials and/or lead paint must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. The contractor is responsible for all notifications and fees for the demolition, asbestos and/or lead paint removal, if applicable. Demolition includes total demolition, removal and disposal of structure(s), miscellaneous debris associated with the structure, and all foundations and slabs.
