2013 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADES PROJECT. Contract One - General Construction: Demolition of existing tanks, equipment and piping. Installations of a new raw sewage pump station building, equipment, connecting piping and appurtenances. Installation of new screens and equipment, screenings and grit handling building, grit collection tanks and equipment, primary clarifiers and equipment, sludge thickener equipment, pumps, meters, piping and appurtenances. Purchase of panels/controls of various equipment and VFDs for pumps. New concrete pipe tunnel, connection piping and appurtenances. Installation of new odor control systems for the new raw sewage pump station and new headworks facility. Site work including excavation, backfill, debris removal, installation of site piping, fence, new access road, sidewalks, paving restoration and interior and exterior painting and other miscellaneous work for a complete installation. Coordination with Electrical and HVAC/Plumbing Contractors. Contract Two - Electrical Work: Demolition of electrical distribution equipment, conduit, wire and miscellaneous control panels. Installation of new motor control centers, control panels and associated conduit and wire. Power/control of new equipment and pumps, including VFD systems. Relocation/replacement of incoming power feeds to the plant and coordination with local electrical utility. Installation of process control systems, updating existing process control functions. SCADA system integration. Coordination with General Construction and HVAC Contractors for connection of new equipment provided under Contracts One and Three. Contract also includes site work, painting of conduit and other miscellaneous work items necessary for a complete installation Bids due 09/12
