Allegheny Valley Railroad: Replacement of a 480' wooden railroad trestle with a steel structure. The trestle is located in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The project consists of the removal and disposal of the existing wooden structure, and the construction of a thirty span steel replacement structure, including approximately 12,050 linear feet of driven H piles, girders, bracing, bridge ties, trackwork and walkways. The trestle will remain in service during construction.
