Sandy: (RFQ) Sandy Community Campus Demolition Master Plan. CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR DEMOLITION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT. The City of Sandy is soliciting statements of interest and qualifications from consulting firms to develop a request for proposal (RFP) for demolition of buildings and to manage the contractor(s) that are hired through the RFP process. Sandy is located approximately 25 miles east of Portland, OR with an estimated population of 11,400. The Sandy Community Campus complex is located directly east of the Bignall Pool on Pleasant Street at Alt Avenue and is comprised of two buildings. The north building in this complex (the Bunker Building) contains the headquarters of SandyNet and will remain in use during and after the demolition of other buildings at the site. Consultant services shall include creation of a request for proposal (RFP) for demolition services, grading, restoration, and utility services, including but not limited to the following: 1. Demolition of buildings, including removal of hazardous materials (i.e. asbestos and lead paint). 2. Grading and restoration of the demolition site. 3. Utility (i.e. sewer, stormwater, voice/data, security, fire alarm, etc.) removal and restoration plan that includes disconnection of existing utilities and rerouting of utilities that pass through the old middle school building so that neighboring buildings maintain utility service with minimal interruption. 4. Cost recovery for the existing boiler in one of the buildings that need to be demolished. Desired Qualifications: 1.
