Riverside South Parking Lot Building Demolition. DESCRIPTION: Provide all labor, equipment and materials required to abate and remove all lead paint and asbestos as identified in the Coleman Creek Consulting survey via DEQ standards and dispose of in accordance with all regulations governing the safe removal, transportation, and disposal of hazardous material; all labor, equipment and materials required to demolish and remove two buildings, their foundations, slabs and perimeter aprons; all labor, equipment and materials to cap off existing utilities while protecting Pacific Power’s pole at the southeast corner of the property; existing sewer laterals shall be plugged as close to the right-of-way line as practical, in a manner acceptable to the jurisdiction; remove the existing trench drain adjacent to the north building, but leave in-place and protect the existing storm drain to the creek from east of the existing fence line; remove existing on-site poles, light fixtures and power lines; light fixtures may contain hazardous materials and shall be disposed of in compliance with state regulations; existing sidewalks on Riverside and 10th Street shall remain and be protected; fill all subgrade voids with ¾”minus crushed rock and compact in lifts to 95% to match surrounding surfaces; protect creek from sediment runoff; and all labor, equipment and materials required complete this project in downtown Medford, Oregon as described in the bid documents and as set forth on City of Medford plans.
